Letters To My Future Wife

I wanted to share with you a project I worked on a little over a year ago. My first completed book. A testament to the purity of a man’s heart who is drawn in the pursuit of love. The book itself is not yet published but I wanted to share with you, three of the letters I wrote.

Number ONE:

Love carves light into the heart, and lingers in hope; not in jealousy, resentment, or anger.

Our responsibilities to each other increase the longer we’re together. Disagreements are inevitable. Of course they are. They will come, and pass through as quickly as a summer storm, testing our foundation time and time again. I’m ok with that. Solutions always exist, if we are willing to navigate through the issues. But, I’m not ok with any form of negative slander towards each other- words alone can destroy an empire. Love comes with the responsibility of providing value to someone else’s heart, confidence, and well-being. I have learned the hard way that in most cases it’s best to guard your thoughts and mouth when rage tickles the tongue, ready to lash out with words we don’t mean.

We see people every day digging up bones of the past, imprisoning themselves in their own mental coffins. This gets discouraging to see after a while. The same cycles continue to appear, and this is why most of us don’t get the love we desire. Not us. We’ll set…
