A DEEPER LETTER TO MY FUTURE WIFE

I used to write for her…

I wrote beautiful letters for her to read, and I wrote to her often. Time passed, and nothing changed other than the words on all the pages I to sent her.

She never responded, not in the way you would.

I’m not much into comparisons, but thinking of her just reminds me that the path to my heart is paved in gold.

When I feel for someone, I go all in; but often, I’m not met with that same zest. Hindsight is 20/20 and I know now that I am not made for just anyone. You must have a heart of gold to uncover as well.

It unnerves me that people will straight up run from a genuine connection. But in a way, that’s a good thing so that my time is not wasted on what is not meant for me. I must have fallen for her illusion of perfection, a hypnotizing system she had developed to bait me; it’s your humanness that I’m drawn to.

Her embrace was like an Iceberg, stagnant in the Pacific Ocean, ready to take down a ship.

Your embrace is encapsulating and lifts me to the point where my heart sings new melodies to the angels.

Her kisses felt cold, like floating on a cloud on the first winter day in New York, snowflakes descending rapidly to the ground.
